Acetic water is sterile water containing 0.6% acetic acid, creating a mildly acidic solution with a lower pH than standard bacteriostatic water. This formulation is specifically designed for peptides that demonstrate improved solubility and stability at slightly acidic pH levels.

Description
Acetic water can be used alone for reconstitution, or mixed 50/50 with bacteriostatic water. The combination approach provides the benefits of acidic pH for initial dissolution while the benzyl alcohol in bacteriostatic water provides ongoing preservation for multi-use applications.
When reconstituting peptides with acetic water, use the same careful technique as with bacteriostatic water — direct the stream down the vial wall and allow gradual dissolution without agitation.
Store at room temperature away from direct light. Do not freeze acetic water as this can affect solution properties and sterility.
